Claudia Larcher’s artistic work deals with architecture. She is interested in places, that are connected to history, familiarity and memory, questioning the meaning of “home” and “identity”. Claudia Larcher was born in 1979, she lives and works in Vienna, Austria. She is graduated from the university of decorative arts of Vienna, where she studied sculpture and multimedia with Professor Erwin Wurm and Transmedia Art with Professor Bernhard Leitner. Since 2005 she has been part of many group shows, national and international. She was granted by the Game Award and the Vienna Kunsthalle award in 2008. Since 2009, she is a member of the artist group Plinque.
