Faustin Linyekula and Studios Kabako present: The Kin-Philly Connection

Jam session + dance

After having welcomed his solo Cargo performance in July, the Nomadic Nights will offer Faustin Linyekula and Studios Kabako (a space initiated by Faustin Linyekula in order to develop social and cultural projects in Kinshasa, Congo) two ’Cartes blanches’.

Faustin Linyekula organizes artistic meetings and tailor-made musical encounters for a Nomadic Night between two continents. He gathers the musicians King Britt (Philadelphia) and Pytshens Kambilo (Congo) and the dancers Raphael Xavier, Jerry Valme (Philadelphia) and Dinozord (Congo) for a music and dance jam session. A crossover between Kinshasa and Philadelphia bringing together hip-hop, rap, ndombolo and electronic musics.
