Matthieu Saladin — La production de l’espace
La production de l’espace
Past: June 9 → July 20, 2013
Programmed to randomly call the public telephone booths in the Val d’Orge (112 cabins), a cabin at a time, whenever the CAC receives an email software. If someone answers, the software announces the geographic coordinates (DMS) of the cabin, then reads the e-mail received. The content of the message remains secret if nobody picks up the phone in the cab. In the exhibition space, loudspeakers broadcast live intermittent tones, but the message if the handset is off to one of the calls and the possible reactions of the person who answers.
Work produced and distributed in the exhibition space of the art center from June 9 to July 20, 2013
Software development: Ianis Lallemand / Alp Studio. Production CAC Brétigny 2013
