Wesley Meuris makes sculptures of display cases, panels, kiosks, swimming pools and zoo cages that draw their inspiration from display strategies combining elements of architecture, design and exhibition design.
For this solo show, Meuris will challenge the traditional experience of the exhibition space turning the architecture inside out.
Wesley Meuris (born 1977), lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium. Recent projects include a largescale solo exhibition at Casino Luxembourg in 2012.
Jérôme Poggi is delighted to announce Wesley Meuris’ first solo exhibition at the gallery, curated by Florence Ostende, Adjunct Curator at Dallas Contemporary (US).
