This exhibition marks the 40th anniversary of the première of Coucou Bazar and also highlights the permanent presence of Jean Dubuffet in the museum, to which the artist made an exceptional donation of 160 works. The elements of Coucou Bazar are displayed in the middle of the Nave, with the painted decors of this “living painting” again shown with its costumes, specially restored for the exhibition.

In the nave’s side aisles, archive documents and films show Coucou Bazar’s genesis and performance.
