    <![CDATA[<p>Dans le cadre des célébrations du Bicentenaire de l’invention de la photographie, le CPIF présente, à la suite de plusieurs collaborations, la première monographie dans un centre d’art contemporain en Île-de-France de l’artiste à la reconnaissance internationale Isabelle Le Minh.

L’exposition, intitulée A Rose is a Rose is the Last Rose of Summer, explore de façon décalée l’histoire de la photographie, de son invention aux bouleversements contemporains. En y puisant ses matériaux et son inspiration, l’artiste a élaboré un vaste ensemble de pièces dans une approche conceptuelle, aussi humoristique que sensible. Cet ensemble, composée de tirages, d’ensembles installatifs et de dispositifs variés, comprend des productions inédites et des œuvres emblématiques des dix dernières années.

Pour Isabelle Le Minh, l’histoire de la photographie, en perpétuelle actualisation, ne se réduit pas à une histoire de l’art ou une histoire des techniques et des industries : elle est une source d’inspiration pour ses créations formelles. Ainsi, la ville américaine de Rochester, berceau des usines Kodak aujourd’hui fermées, apparaît dans la série Traumachromes (2019) dans de grands tirages sur soie, rehaussés d’un encadrement blanc qui produit un effet inattendu, entre la diapositive et l’écran. L’artiste a tiré les images à partir de film Kodak, puis a choisi de montrer les saturations chromatiques et les trames apparues accidentellement lors de leur numérisation, comme en écho au devenir numérique de la photographie qui a entraîné la chute de Kodak.

Depuis la gare Émerainville / Pontault-Combault, les bus B, C et 432 vous conduisent au CPIF en 2 arrêts (descendre à l’arrêt Hôtel de ville). Il est aussi possible de venir à pied en remontant l’Avenue de la République jusqu’à la Mairie (compter 18 minutes).

Se garer sur le parking situé au 83/91 avenue de la République (stationnement en zone blanche avec disque de stationnement réglementaire limité à 4 heures). Le CPIF se situe ensuite à 3 minutes à pied et se trouve dans la cour de la Ferme Briarde.</p>]]>
