À l’envers, à l’endroit… - CPIF — Centre photographique d’Ile-de-France

À l’envers, à l’endroit…

This collective exhibition explores the image’s third dimension, its hidden face, its folds and hollows, whether real or symbolic; what is still or already there but out of frame, which might elude representation and which contains information, as well as unexpected fictional and artistic possibilities.

Olivier Mosset - Les filles du calvaire Gallery

Olivier Mosset

As one of the major artists of the contemporary scene, he is known for having been part of the BMPT group in the end of the 60’s, and is famous for his monochrome and geometric abstraction’s pieces. His exhibition will fill the ground floor of the gallery with large scale monochromes, whose colour is left to the viewer to determine.

James Hyde - Les filles du calvaire Gallery

James Hyde

Over the last decade, Hyde has developed a paradigm of painting — different modes of painting on photographic prints — that forms a distinct but continuous relationship to his earlier painterly explorations of image and support, material and surface.
