Fascinated with nature and its evolution, Marion Catusse attempts to reproduce its fundamental principles by creating imaginary cartographies. Her singular field of artistic experimentations relates to the area of chemistry as well as microbiology or mineralogy.

Following an introduction to applied arts, Marion Catusse turned to a singular artistic practice that relates to the times of the living and the mineral. She creates forms that are strangely organic, somewhere between paint stains and chemical reactions. The cells, fundamental elements and inherent to Life, dialog with bones and rocks.
