Accident(s) — Atypical Book Fair
Exhibition
Accident(s)
Atypical Book Fair
Past: November 10 → 13, 2022
Accident(s) — Atypical Book Fair is an event created by four enthusiasts of books and printed images : Mathilde de Galbert (Librairie Sans Titre), Pauline Lespiau (Librairie Disparate), Oscar Ginter (Éditions Quintal) and Stéphane Gallois (Éditions Rien Ne Va Plus).
After the first edition in 2021, successfully held at the Bellevilloise in the heart of the Ménilmontant district in Paris, Accident(s) was invited to take over the gallery space of the Cité internationale des arts from November 10 th — 13 th , 2022.
Accident(s) is an event proposal which aims to be impactful. A joyful collision of styles born from a creative effervescence and a desire for renewal. Our idea is to present the heterogeneity of independent publishing while bringing it together in one place. From micro-editions to artists’ books, from the most experimental to the unclassifiable, one can find atypical publications at Accident(s) within the fields of graphic arts and photography.
For its second edition, Accident(s) is part of multiple events related to photography (Month of Photography, Paris Photo, Photo Days, Polycopies, etc.) and aims to show the plurality of contemporary publishing practices while highlighting an international focus.
