Exhibition
Art Basel Paris
2026
In about 2 months: October 23 → 25, 2026
From October 23 to 25, 2026, Art Basel Paris returns to the Grand Palais for its fifth edition, further consolidating the French capital’s position as a major center for contemporary artistic creation. The first edition under the direction of Karim Crippa, the fair brings together 211 galleries from 41 countries and territories, including nearly thirty participating for the first time.
The 2026 edition is structured around three main sectors. Galleries, the core section of the fair, brings together leading international galleries presenting the breadth of their programs, from modern art to the most current forms of artistic practice. Emergence is dedicated to young galleries and monographic presentations highlighting a new generation of artists. Finally, Premise features distinctive curatorial projects that question established art historical narratives and encourage unexpected connections across periods and artistic approaches.
Beyond the exhibition booths, the fair extends its reach through a public program developed in partnership with several Parisian institutions. Exhibitions, installations, talks, and artistic interventions help embed the event within the cultural fabric of the city while fostering dialogue between the art world, cultural institutions, and other fields of contemporary creative practice.
