Artist Talk — Gerard & Kelly / Elisabeth Lebovici

During Festival d’Automne à Paris, American artist duo Gerard & Kelly will be accompanied by Elisabeth Lebovici to present and discuss their work in a unique event. Following a summer residency in 2017, the Mona Bismarck American Center is coproducing a showcase of their work during the Festival d’Automne à Paris, including Reusable Parts/Endless Love at the Centre national de la danse, Timelining at the Centre Pompidou and State of as part of the opening festivities of the FIAC at the Palais de la découverte.

Elisabeth Lebovici is the author of numerous monographic studies on contemporary artists and teaches at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences.
She is particularly interested in studying genders and sexualities, and is engaged in examining the relationships between feminism, queer theory, art history, and contemporary art.

This conversation will be in English without any simultaneous translation.
