Carte blanche to the artist Richard Mosse

Since his first travel to the East of the Congo in 2010, the Irish photographer Richard Mosse records the inextricable reality of the country’s conflict. For 2013 Venice Biennale, he created with photographic director Trevor Tweeten and composer Ben Frost the video installation The Enclave. With the help of infrared film, he gave magenta, violet and yellow tones to the Congolese landscape and flora, leaving the bodies their natural tint. For his carte blanche at the Nomadic Nights, Richard Mosse surrounds himself with his artistic accomplices, and furthers his investigation of the East of the Congo. He will collaborate with young and talented Congolese creatives for a one-of-a-kind evening of performances, between installation, video and concert.
