Le Cube Festival, a flagship event for the French digital scene, showcases the many facets of digital creation — innovating and revolutionising the genres for the enjoyment of all!

For its 2010 edition, Le Cube Festival invites you to a series of unique outdoor and indoor events: an exhibition of digital art at Le Cube, transformed for the occasion, the launch of a major multimedia urban game in the city, a 3D digital traveling circus in the seven cities making up the Grand Paris Seine Ouest Urban Community, public meetings, etc.

A grand exhibition of digital art

A transformed Le Cube presents twenty performers from the international digital scene, in an exhibition extending over 700m2. The Cube Festival has devised this exhibition as a panoramic tour of the various forms of digital art today: interactive and generative installations, participatory works, interactive design, etc. Using innovative mediation guaranteed to reach all audiences, it promises a playful journey into the heart of digital design today. A program of digital workshops and special debates will accompany this exceptional event.

The works presented include the installation Beneath by Super Nature (China), plunging the visitor into a water world whose elements mirror your every gesture, Symbiosis by the collective Experientæ Electricæ (France) — a behavioral installation using telephones to deliver personalized messages to spectators; Glowing Pathfinder Bugs by Squidsoup (Great Britain) enabling you to play with virtual insects you can hold in your hands; and Lotus by Daan Roosegaarde (Netherlands), a living wall made up of intelligent leaves that open up when they are touched …
