Espaces libres #2 — 13 mots pour représenter l’architecture
Exhibition
Espaces libres #2
13 mots pour représenter l’architecture
Past: November 4 → 19, 2016
Run in parallel with monographic exhibitions, la Galerie d’Architecture pursue a reflection into representations of architecture, which we began with the Alvaro Siza box set :
« Free Spaces — architecture in 13 words »
“Free Spaces” is a participative research project whose aim is to bring together collections of architectural documents and publish them as limited editions.
The event will give rise to an exhibition and a catalogue presenting the works on display. Only architects who have exhibited at la galerie are invited to take part. The project focuses on the raw material of architecture: SPACE.
By assigning a “space-word” to every architect, participants are free to create a personal work. With this collaborative project la Galerie d’Architecture will help enrich the shared commitment to the “free space” that is architecture.
