Remontages (Ivry-sur-Seine, 2014) was realized by the artist during the preparation of her show l’espace épisodique in Spring 2014 at Crédac. The video focuses on the Manufacture des OEillets’s large clock. Stopped since the closing of the factory in the late 1970s (and occasionally put back in working order since), the clock by itself is naturally a symbol of time and memory. With its double face, it was visible from the courtyard by people coming in and from the factory during the workday. The artist has restored the clockmaker’s process of repairing the clock and making it function again for the run of her show at Crédac.
