Alberta Pane Gallery is pleased to welcome Fritz Panzer for his first solo exhibition in France.
The Austrian artist is above all known for his wire sculptures of every day objects in 1:1 scale.
All throughout his career, Fritz Panzer has followed the same approach in his works with different media. He presents a series of wire sculptures, including the “Pianino” (2010), as well as several drawings and paintings.
Fritz Panzer regularly exhibits in international institutions, he has participated in “Neon — Who’s afraid of Red, Yellow and Blue” at the Maison Rouge, Paris, which currently is continued at the MACRO of Rome.
David Rosenberg, this exhibition’s curator, accompanies “Doubles” at Alberta Pane Gallery with an essay on the artist.
