Irina Volkonskii has assembled a series of original artworks as part of an exploration which revisits the series’ creation by comparing it with its preceding preparatory work. By associating painting, sculpture and installation, the artist’s multiform universe unfolds in a dreamlike and burlesque theatre, defining the contours of a melancholy veined with malice and audacity.
