From November 24 to 27, Analix Forever is pleased to welcome New York–based artist Janet Biggs for a continuous workshop punctuated by screenings, conversations, and performances.
Over these four days, the gallery invites the public to meet the artists and listen to talks by specialists such as Marta Ponsa, Head of Artistic Projects and Cultural Outreach at the Jeu de Paume, as well as creative professionals—video artists, performers, writer, soprano—including Aurélien Bambagioni, Alexandre Barré, Nicolas Etchenagucia, Jade Jouvin, JiSun Lee, Ileana Muñoz, Mimiko Türkkan…
The public is also invited to present their own project and receive feedback from Janet Biggs, and to visit her exhibition When souls meet.
Workshop open to all
Janet Biggs, born in 1959 is a research-based interdisciplinary artist known for her work in video, sound and performance. Her practice presents individuals in extreme landscapes and situations and offers a powerful perspective on the complex relationship between humankind and its environment. Biggs has worked with institutions from NOAA to NASA and CERN. She’s a recipient of the Anonymous Was a Woman Award (2004), a Guggenheim Fellowship (2018), and the Visionary Woman Award (2023).
