Olga Picasso
Exhibition
Olga Picasso
Past: March 21 → September 3, 2017
In partnership with the Fundación Almine y Bernard Ruiz-Picasso para el Arte (FABA), the Olga Picasso exhibition sheds light on the years that Pablo Picasso spent with his first wife Olga Kokhlova, a ballerina for the Ballets Russes. The exhibition tries to put the production of some of Picasso’s major works between 1917 and 1935 in the perspective of that personal history, mirror of the political and social history of the interwar period. Through a rich selection of paintings, drawings, written and photographical archives, the exhibition will occupy two floors of the Museum (around 800 sq metres).
