Part artist, part investigator, Pietro Ruffo’s singular voice has found an echo in today’s italian and international contemporary art scene.

Working with media including drawing, watercolour and sculpture, he creates intricate and meticulously-detailed objects which demand an intense manual working process.
His work explores a wide range of social, moral and political issues, questioning the nature of freedom through several themes of natural history such as migration.
