Salon de Montrouge
2026 — 69e édition

In 24 days: February 13 → March 1, 2026

A must-see event in contemporary art and a true springboard for tomorrow’s creators, the Salon de Montrouge has established itself over the years as a landmark exhibition dedicated to discovering emerging artists across all disciplines.

Forty artists from 15 countries (France, Germany, Iran, Poland, Belarus, Uruguay, Morocco, Canada, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Brazil, India, Sri Lanka, and Egypt) have been selected this year by the committee, following a rigorous process carried out throughout the spring. With more than 2,000 applications received in April, the Salon de Montrouge once again confirms its strong appeal to the emerging art scene, both in France and internationally.

The curatorial committee, gathered around Andrea Ponsini, based its selection on the formal and conceptual quality of the works, the diversity of media, and above all on the artists’ ability to question contemporary issues—both societal and artistic.

The practices most represented this year include painting, installation, video, sculpture, hybrid practices, drawing, and photography, bearing witness to the vitality of a generation deeply engaged with its time.
