The presence of the American composer Craig Shepard will end Sunday 6 October with a Aubervilliers’ version of Trumpet City: 40 trumpeters distributed equidistant for more than one kilometer along the Avenue de la République between La Dynamo (Pantin) and the Stalingrad Park will perform a minimalist composition that will mingle for an hour with urban noise.

Intervening in the middle of a Sunday afternoon on a busy avenue, the piece is superimposed its structure both regular and sparse flow of passersby, the sound of vehicles, to better hear the rustling of the world. The concert benefits both chance walkers, curious skeptics and surprise listeners and experienced trumpeters themselves whose concentration is required.
