In the regressive photo art scene of Hungary in the 1970’s there was several groups made up of youngsters who intended to create a whole new design, carrying new content. Operating within the Mecseki Photo Club at the time, the Focus Group of Pécs was a fundamental one of these assemblies. It was founded in 1977.
The Faces of Pécs collection comprise black and white photographs and the Focus Group hopes that these photos document representatives of the widest range of the Pécs population.
