Fred Wilson — Venice Suite: Sala Longhi and Related Works
Past: February 7 → March 22, 2014
Following in the tradition of Postcolonial studies, the work of Fred Wilson acts as a re-reading of the museology and treatment of historical artefacts issued from white civilizations. Wilson’s work often inverts the symbolic value of objects which the artist “recycles” for their historical and cultural meanings.

Edi Hila — Penthouse
Past: December 13, 2013 → February 1, 2014
As an important figure of the Balkan arts scene, the work of Edi Hila has for the last 20 years bared witness to the profound changes experienced by societies in post communist Europe. Keith Sonnier — Demi Lune
Past: October 22 → December 7, 2013
Keith Sonnier’s early use of neon as a central material was essential to his practice and later to the development of a broader contemporary art practice. It was from these early works that Sonnier went on to investigate large scale installations in which spacial perception relative to the environment reached its zenith.

After
Past: September 7 → October 12, 2013
Whilst a number of exhibitions may have already analyzed the return of a modernist style through the work of contemporary artists, their intention was more focused on the nostalgia of a passed era where it was thought art could change life or the criticism of the excess’ of functionalism. The exhibition After attempts to escape these two trends.

Sanctum Sanctorum
Past: June 29 → August 3, 2013
The exhibition Sanctum Sanctorum is a testament to our recent loss of some major figures in contemporary art. This is also a means for the Frères Chapuisat to question the actual form of the exhibition or the act of displaying itself in proposing a different radical approach to the exhibition and to the appreciation of works of art in general.

Peter Kogler — A light bulb moment
Past: January 17 → March 3, 2013
For this exhibition, Peter Kogler intervenes on the walls as well as in the entire space by switching patterns between pictures and drawings and the everyday furniture, table and bench, affirming this way his elaborated vision of sculpture and drawing.

Zaha Hadid — Liquid Glacial
Past: November 10, 2012 → January 12, 2013
Essential figure of the deconstructivist movement, Zaha Hadid is known for her practical and theoretical works through which she has been for the past thirty years exploring shapes, within the fields of architecture, urbanism and design. Her style is characterized by a taste for the tracery of straight and curved lines that make her work complex and light.

Duncan Wylie — From Chaos
Past: September 8 → October 20, 2012
Anarchitect in the style of a Gordon Matta-Clark, Duncan Wylie goes against the constructs of classical Greek thought, those masters of the “art of memory.” He builds demolitions. He digs the fault lines of the memory of the world, of the history of art, of his own story.

Yuan Yuan — Team Rooms
Past: June 24 → July 29, 2011

Michael Phelan
Past: May 14 → June 18, 2011

Mohamed El Baz — Bricoler l’incurable. Détails.
Past: March 24 → May 7, 2011

Sui Jianguo — Dream Stone
Past: November 6 → 20, 2010

Chourouk Hriech — Cirrus & Ice Melody
Past: September 6 → October 9, 2010
Like a novice archaeologist, I apply myself to sounding out the layers of human con-struction and environment. “My eye catches a world of mater weaving it into a mat or a magic car-pet”. Narrative leads about distortions, assemblages and reconstruction of places and adventures, bring about drawings architectural, urban, rural, maritime and imaginary landscapes…
