Max Hetzler Gallery

Founded in 1974, the gallery is known for its significant exhibitions in Cologne by Albert Oehlen, Martin Kippenberger, Jeff Koons and Christopher Wool among others. Max Hetzler moved to Berlin in 94. He exhibited Darren Almond, Glenn Brown, André Butzer, Rineke Dijkstra, Günther Förg, Mona Hatoum, Robert Holyhead, Jeff Koons, Vera Lutter, Marepe, Beatriz Milhazes, Ernesto Neto, Frank Nitsche, Albert Oehlen, Yves Oppenheim, Richard Phillips, Michael Raedecker, Bridget Riley, Thomas Struth, Rebecca Warren, Christopher Wool and Toby Ziegler. In 2013, the gallery moved to 2 different spaces in Berlin, in the Charlottenburg district. In 2014 the Paris gallery was inaugurated with a show by Albert Oehlen, followed by the group show Halftone.
