Polka Galerie
Polka Galerie represents French and International post-war artists who work in photography both as a medium for documentary work and visual arts. Founded in 2007 by Adélie de Ipanema and Edouard Genestar, brother and sister, the gallery is dedicated to promote photographic works and offers exhibitions that confront the past with the present, that interrogate the representation of the world´s major events, and that seek documentary forms in contemporary creation.
Installed in the Marais neighborhood of Paris, the gallery, with its 300 square meters, features two exhibition halls and a photographic bookstore with both monographic and thematic themes and rare or recently released signed editions.
