“I consider that art produces singular forms of knowledge, therefore research, critical revision of history and its articulation with the present are the substratum of my work. Photography, video, performance, painting and, fundamentally, drawing, are the tools I use to talk about political and social issues. Through the strategies of anthropology, juxtaposition, image montage, history, popular culture, fiction, academic knowledge and intuition, I try to put events into synchrony in search of a secret relationship between one historical fact and another; between diachronic linear time and subjective time; between the past and the present.”
