Fantômes
Past: May 25 → June 16, 2018

Past: February 21 → May 20, 2018

Past: July 4 → 25, 2015
When white disappears what comes next? A different colour or several colours appearing implicitly? A single other colour is synonymous with the monochrome and it’s mainly this which is the subject of the exhibition.

Past: January 9 → February 7, 2015
A stretched canvas painted the same color as the wall on which it’s hung. This is the initial formulation from which all of Claude Rutault’s definitions/methods have been constructed since the early seventies. Definition/method is the term he uses to define the protocols employed in his works.

Pour que les murs se souviennent
Past: May 10 → June 23, 2012
After 22 years’ work at 70 rue Bonaparte, I’ve decided to move, to change the walls of the gallery. In order to put an end to this amazing adventure I wish to offer an entertaining and atypical exhibition miles away from the commercial and cultural ways for the gallery’s daily activities.

The title as the curator’s art piece
Past: January 29 → February 26, 2011
Inasmuch as the function of a title is to condense the subject matter of the exhibition or to summarize its spirit, _The title as the curator’s art piece_ may appear rather puzzling. This title is a work of Stefan Brüggemann, who has been developing for some years a list of titles for exhibitions that are freely available.
