David de Tscharner Biography

Born in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1979, David de Tscharner graduated from the art schools HEAD in Geneva and La Cambre in Brussels in 2005, where he teaches now. He lives and works in Brussels.
Among his noticeable solo shows : ”Les Ambassadeurs” at Escougnou-Cetraro gallery (Paris), ”Le Grand Miroir” at JeanRoch Dard gallery (Brussels), ”La nature des choses” at Maison Grégoire (Brussels) in 2016 ; ”Fantasmagorie”at Frac des Pays de la Loire (Carquefou) in 2014; ”One Sculpture a Day” at Aliceday (Brussels) in 2012, ”Next”at Galerie Albert Baronian in 2008 (Brussels). He took part in many group exhibitions in France, Belgium and Switzerland, at Piacé Le Radieux, Bézard Le Corbusier, at the Frac Pays de la Loire (Carquefou), at the Lieu Unique (Nantes), at La Box (Bourges) and at the cneai= (Chatou). Art director of the magazine Code between 2005 and 2010, he also collaborates with artists like Florence Doléac, Benoît Platéus, Eric Croes and Jean-Baptiste Bernadet.
