Le Droit à l’oubli — Musée Transitoire #3

Le Musée Transitoire s’installe à Paris pour une troisième édition intitulée le droit à l’oubli. Pensé comme une institution–œuvre, le projet interroge les formats d’expositions et de conservation en présentant les œuvres de dix-huit artistes. Après une première présentation en 2023, l’exposition rouvre le 26 janvier 2024 avec de nouvelles œuvres et une nouvelle programmation.

In the super-8 film by David Wojnarowicztitled, the black-and-white film turns into color at precisely the moment when its central character came into contact with an upstate New York lake in what appears to be a suicide attempt. Tracking the journey from slumber to death, nine artists’ works set an alternative mise-en-scène of the rarely-screened film.
