Gregory Buchert ’s works — mainly videos and performances — refer to many literary references (Joyce, Gide, Calvino). Between humor and critical thinking, they play on the notions of failure and unsolved and offer, through their actions, lines of thought about being in the world of the artist, but also, by extension, each of us.

His work has been exhibited during the festival Hors-Pistes of the Centre Georges Pompidou (FR), at the Kunsthaus Baselland (CH), the CRAC Alsace (FR), the FRAC Bretagne (FR) and at the Motorenhalle in Dresde (DE).

In 2011, his movie 858 pages plus au sud wan the first price of Analix Forever, gave by Laure Adler and Barbara Polla. His videos are in the departemental collection of contemporary art of Seine Saint-Denis (FR) and in the Frac Alsace collection(FR).
