Katja Stuke
Katja Stuke studied photography, video and visual communication in Düsseldorf. Together with Oliver Sieber, she founded ANT!FOTO and the Böhm Kobayashi project. In 2017 they won the LUMA Foundation Dummy Book Award from the Rencontres d’Arles Festival for the “You and Me” project, which was then published by Spector Books Leipzig. Since 2005 they have been working abroad, among others, in artist residences in Osaka, Tokyo, Cité des Arts Paris, Chicago, Sarajevo or Chongqing. She was a member of several juries, e.g. for “Photobook of the Year 2016” Paris Photo / Aperture Foundation, the NRW Art Foundation for the “Young Scene”, or the support program “Individual Artist Support (IKF) NRW”. Since 2020 she has been a mentor in the NRW Mentoring Program since 2018 the 2nd chair of the artist association Malkasten in Düsseldorf.
She recently exhibited together with Oliver Sieber at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg, Kunsthalle Gießen, Photomonth Krakow, Kunsthaus NRW Kornelimünster, Museum of Contemporary Photography Chicago, Temple Paris, Fundació Foto Colectania Barcelona, CCCB Barcelona, Folkwang Museum Essen, Fotomuseum Winterthur, Florence Loewy Paris.
