Jeffrey Perkins, artiste américain satellite de Fluxus et chauffeur de taxi, enregistra, sur les conseils de Nam June Paik et avec l’accord de ses clients, toutes ses conversations avec eux, de 1995 à 2002. Il engagea ainsi un travail immense et méconnu, conjuguant la nécessité de gagner sa vie à un processus artistique.
