Uffe Isolotto creates sculptures, films, and animations that question our relationship to technological advancements and how they can affect, transform, or augment our bodies. Hyperrealistic, his humanoid figures evoke crossbreeds that grab the viewer, offering an emotional mirror where initial familiarity gives way to terror.

Graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2007, he lives and works in Copenhagen where he co-directs the exhibition and production platform Age of Aquarius with Nanna Starck, entirely focused on experimentation and different forms of ecological culture. In 2022, Uffe Isolotto represents Denmark at the Venice Biennale where he creates the immersive installation We Walked the Earth, combining centaurs and a hyperrealistic morbid landscape
