Xue Sun — Nouvelles Sculptures & dessins

Xue Sun has succeeded in creating new forms where poetry takes root. Each sculpture is a poem, a haiku, a verse or prose. Without doubt it’s what takes place when then spectator is faced with the artist’s works: in his turn he explores, completing or not the phrase and searching for meaning. Each form is reinvented and its silence poetical.

Xue Sun présente pour la première fois son travail dans une galerie à Paris. « La nature produit des choses tellement extraordinaires que je me plierais volontiers corps et âme devant elle. Je cherche à me débarrasser de tous les critères d’appréciation du « monde civilisé », je cherche juste à façonner un visage humain « à l’était pur ». »

Young talents never previously shown in a museum, and established artists sculpting in ceramics for several years have been brought together.
