Neither a contemporary art fair nor a thematic exhibition, 100% L’Expo offers an eclectic snapshot of emerging practices. Forms, techniques, mediums, and narratives intertwine, shaping a vibrant landscape of current creation. As a committed supporter of emerging artists, La Villette fosters encounters with works that question our relationship to the world and the ways art is made today.

What artistic, political, and societal issues shape the early careers of these artists under 30? How do they perceive their social role? What challenges and opportunities define their paths? These are some of the questions explored across more than 3,000 square metres of the Grande Halle from April 8 to 26, 2026.

Since its launch in 2018, 100% L’Expo has championed a rigorous vision of emerging French art, with free and open access for all. Each year, a selection of recently graduated artists is invited to present new and committed works within the monumental space of the Grande Halle. Conceived as a genuine professional springboard, the exhibition often marks their first large-scale group show experience.

For the first time, the 2026 edition is open to all artists who have earned a DNSEP (national higher diploma in visual arts) within the past five years. It brings together around thirty young artists from nineteen of France’s forty art schools.
