One doesn’t choose what one writes and one doesn’t choose one’s first words. Bertrand Rigaux’s writing conforms to this principal. It unfurls, with its repetitions, a sort of affected stammer, automatic, a rebellious meter which covers an entire wall. It is more rebellious than it seems.
