Following an invitation by Pia Rondé & Fabien Saleil : Stéphane Pelletier, glassworker, in dialogue with the Gallery Escougnou-Cetraro.

Crystal Palace was built for the first time as part of the Great Exhibition in 1851 in London by Joseph Paxton and Owen Jones. Appearing as an emblem of utopian socialism as well as an ancestor of the contemporary shopping malls, the building embodies this strange ambiguity dreams have when turned into their opposite. After being destroyed by a fire and rebuilt many times worldwide, we resurrect it for the umpteenth time to name this space of sharing we chose to build, halfway between the workshop and the gallery. The workshop is GAMIL, established in 2016 by Stéphane Pelletier, glassmaker, in dialogue with the Escougnou-Cetraro gallery and the artists whose works have been marked by a glass burn, giving birth to a community made of affinities and differences, offering a shared creative experience.
