Dutko Gallery is pleased to present from December 7th until January 13th a selection of the most recent works by Belgian artist Guy Leclercq. This second solo exhibition brings together around 20 canvases created between 2022 and 2023 based on the notion of appearance.

A surprise this autumn 2023, Guy Leclercq has added colour to his outlines. Vibrant yet tender colours, luminous through their chromatic range and transparent through their softness. Fond of the lapis-lazuli pigment, which gives him a sovereign blue hue, Leclercq is not adverse to green, grey, black, red or beige. He offers us, on a chosen platter, a welcome range of colours. Discrete in their depth without emphasis, but very present.
