Temple of Love

Past: September 5 → December 15, 2018

Curated by Lucas Morin

In Temple of Love, Gaëlle Choisne composes an in situ installation addressing the concept of love. An attitude and form of resistance as well as a channeling source of profoundly political actions, love is envisioned as a social and spiritual matter. Through sculptural offerings and a sensual feast of oysters, the artist makes use of the vocabulary of architecture, organic shapes and textile materials to create a collective living habitat, a place of congregation and refuge where gaze and discourse are created and experienced.
