Maria Grazia Rosin — Mollis Lux
Exhibition
Maria Grazia Rosin
Mollis Lux
Past: October 20 → November 8, 2014
For its second exhibition, Great Design welcomes artist Maria Grazia Rosin and presents Mollis Lux, a new lighting collection made of Murano glass and Technogel®.
Immersed in a lunar environment, the public is invited to walk around an installation of 17 lights suspended in the center of the gallery at different heights, and discover the variety and uniqueness of each piece. Between craftsmanship and technology, the lamps with their sinuous and flexible shapes are made of transparent and colored Technogel® combined with elements of Murano glass that diffuse the light.
The installation is completed by a graphic work on the window of the gallery by young illustrator Noé Borst.
Gelatin Lux — retrospective of Maria Grazia Rosin — takes place in parallel at the Galerie Italienne (www.galerieitalienne.com) in Paris from 31 October to 3 December 2014.
