Galerie Derouillon — About — Slash Paris

Galerie Derouillon, founded by Benjamin Derouillon, opened its doors in September 2012 in the emerging area of Upper Marais in Paris. Since its opening, the gallery engaged in a spirit of complete freedom, to defend a new generation of french and international contemporary artists, including Guy Yanai, Fabien Boitard, Micky Clément, Nils Guadagnin, Roman Moriceau and the german photographer Jonas Unger … Through its sharp selection, the gallery asserts its desire to present a singular vision of art today in its diversity of modes of expression. Each of these artists develops a sharp and playful work breaking the classic codes of drawing, painting, photography and sculpture. The gallery builds strong relationships with artists working with them often early in their careers. Indeed, it notably revealed the subversive duo Nøne Futbol Club, organizing their first solo exhibitions.
