Jean-Paul Lespagnard invites visitors to explore his creative process. Drawing from the identically titled 2014 collection, shown in September of 2013 in Paris, this exhibition evokes the exuberance of life at Mexico’s giant Mayan Riviera hotels and expresses the artist’s take on this artificial paradise, a world steeped in euphoria, sin and freedom.

Named after the song by Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, the “ In a Sentimental Mood ” exhibition offers a journey through every facet of love. Gathering the work of eight artists from different generations and backgrounds, the exhibition conceived by Vanessa Desclaux explores the experience of love in its universality as well as ultimate singularity.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the construction of its Dome, Galeries Lafayette have decided to celebrate this monument of the Boulevard Haussmann, a symbol of Art Nouveau architecture, by staging unusual events in tune with the life of the department store from 16 October 2012.

In the gallery space, small concentrations of works takes shape, encouraging a range of cross-references between pieces by artists like Michel Blazy, Ugo Rondinone and Pierre-Olivier Arnaud.
