Rabouan Moussion Gallery
Rabouan Moussion gallery was created in Paris in 1988, under Jacqueline Rabouan’s leadership, making his choice of an implantation in the Marais area, following the historical presence of Hotel de Sole and Centre Georges Pompidou.
Jacqueline Rabouan and Caroline Moussion were already engaged to the development of the Soviet bloc. After the first Moscow contemporary art fair, they decided to promote Russian artists in France — among them Oleg Kulik, Dimitri Tsykalov, Vlad Mamyshev Monroe, Kirill Chelushkin, Ira Waldron, PG group, Gosha Ostretsov, and Olga Kisseleva.
The gallery is opened to other emerging scenes : it is engaged on street art with JonOne, Sowat and Lek, collectif Jane_Doe22, and support contemporary Indian art with Sunil Gawde and Justin Ponmany.
Artistic choices are not the result of a mix between aesthetics and market, they are of a keen sensitivity and a privileged relationship with the artists. Thus, in collaboration with the Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf, or the Frenchs Bernar Venet, Cédric Tanguy and Florence Cantié-Kramer, Rabouan Moussion gallery knows how to amaze, and is never limited to one genre or geographical area.
