Emmanuel Le Cerf Biography

Emmanuel Le Cerf was born in 1984 in Le Havre (France). He lives and works in Paris.
After studying graphic design from 2002 to 2004, Emmanuel Le Cerf went to the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD) to study photography and video. He spent five month in Brussels in 2008, attending the Ecole de Recherche Graphique (ERG) which led him to start his research on volume. That same year, he took part in an exhibition at London’s Royal College of Arts. In 2010, he graduated with honours from Les Arts Décoratifs de Paris. In November 2014 and 2015, his work appeared in the first and second part of the group exhibition “Au-delà de l’image” at Galerie Escougnou-Cetraro as well as in the exhibition “Honoré” at Galerie Visconti. In October 2015, he started to work as a duo for the first time with artist Gabrielle G. Bianco, as part of the exhibition “La Peur d’un Monde Entier” in Ghent, Belgium. His first solo show at Galerie Escougnou-Cetraro was in February 2017.
