Matías Duville’s drawings are emaciated landscapes, upside down realities, made-up natural phenomena, at the same time poetic and brutal. Scratched, chiselled in the wall, realized with a ball-point pen, charcoal or even with some mud, these small cataclysms leave no room for the human component.

On 17 October 2024, Koyo Kouoh wholeheartedly accepted the invitation by the President of La Biennale di Venezia, Pietrangelo Buttafuoco, to take on the role of Artistic Director of the Visual Arts Department, with the task of curating the 61st International Art Exhibition.
