Prix Marcel Duchamp — 2022

Claude Bonnin, Président de l’ADIAF, a dévoilé le 12 janvier 2022 les noms des quatre artistes en lice pour la 22ème édition du Prix Marcel Duchamp. Choisis par un Comité de onze collectionneurs après un long et rigoureux processus, ces artistes sont invités par le Centre Pompidou pour une exposition collective dont le vernissage aura lieu le 4 octobre prochain en Galerie 4.

Installé dans un ancien bâtiment industriel du quartier du Flon depuis 1991, Raynald Métraux a fait de son atelier un carrefour de la création d’estampes contemporaines en Suisse romande. A sa vocation d’imprimeur et d’éditeur, il a ajouté celle de galeriste et présente régulièrement de nouvelles œuvres imprimées.

His approach consists in developing an interest in a repertory of forms and observing their differing developments, before re-appropriating them for himself.

Ainsi, ils conçoivent avec Pierre Keller un parcours spécifique dans ce lieu qui accueille les artistes du monde entier depuis 1965.
