As an extension of his interventions at the Mosaïque des Lexiques and as part of his residency at Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers, Pascal Poyet offers a collective immersion in translation “but” a text written in a language spoken by at least one of group people.
“Let’s start from a text in a language spoken by at least one person in the group.
Do not read right away: let’s look.
How is this text done? What? Do words repeat themselves? Sentences ? Let’s talk about what we see (without immediately trying to read).
The translation will be done collectively. Open to who wants to translate by speaking, speaking of translating.
It isn’t necessary to know the language of the text to translate to participate".
