Past: October 18, 2025 → January 10, 2026

The gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition AVENEMENT, which will take place from October 18, 2025, to January 10, 2026. The title was chosen for its etymological meaning of “Avenir” or “Advenir” («Future» or “Advent”), and not in a religious or political context, thus marking the 100th anniversary of the gallery. The year 2025 is characterized by a large number of off-site exhibitions and events featuring the gallery’s artists, as well as the complete restoration of a historic house in the 6th arrondissement of Paris to house all the archives and the gallery’s library.

The culmination of these efforts is this exhibition, built around an emblematic work from each artist’s corpus that reflects their relationship with the gallery. This exhibition, spanning from the Arts Premiers to the present day, offers a journey through the field of 20th- and 21st-century European art, creating a dialogue between periods and artworks. It also reveals unexpected formal connections between avant-garde artists of the 1920s and more recent ones who, while deeply rooted in their own time, resonate subtly with their predecessors.
