Landscape has always been David Crone’s primary subject. This exhibition shows recent and new works that have all developed from the artist’s immediate rural surroundings. As Aidan Dunne writes, he is “a thoughtful, judicious painter with a beautiful touch and a finely tuned colour sense that is closely based on natural observation. His command of a palette of muted greens, greys, blues and russets is exceptional”
